MASTER INSTRUCTOR:
Mr.
Darren Cox Chief Instructor & President
Mr. Darren Cox holds a
7th degree Black belt and title of Hanshi in KENPO KARATE.
He is the President
and Head Instructor of All-Star Karate, Inc. Mr. Cox has been studying
martial arts for 26 years and has been an instructor for 18 years. Mr.
Cox has a mixed martial arts background which includes: Ju-Jitsu, Wado-
Ryu, Ed Parker Kenpo, Tae Kwando, and numerous forms of Hand To Hand
Combat and is a Master Weapons Trainer in 13 different weapons.
Mr. Cox also has
extensive competition experience both nationally and internationally
and currently holds 8 Sport Karate World Titles with the National
Blackbelt League. He is also an experienced competition coach who has
coached numerous national competitors to World Champion titles. He
also host’s and promotes the Salt City Internationals,
the southwest’s most premier martial arts event. Offering black belt
prize money, a Super Show finale, 22 Underbelt Grand Champion prizes
and specialized divisions you can’t see anywhere else. In 2006, he
hosted 750 competitors at the Salt Palace Convention Center and the
Salt Lake Plaza Hotel. This is a NBL National, Rocky Mountain
Regional, Excel Karate League sanctioned event. At the 2005 Super
Grand’s Word Games, Mr. Cox was awarded the prestigious title of
“Promoter of the year”. He is very proud of his event and credit’s a
lot of the success to his close-knit All-Star family: students,

During his years as an
instructor, Mr. Cox has also been actively developing and
implementing, several specialized programs dealing with issues such as
bully-proofing and programs for kids with A.D.D. & A.D.H.D. These
programs have been designed with the help of registered, practicing
schoolteachers and Black Belt experts. His instructors teach them in
area public schools as well as in his classes.

A. JENSEN
Becky Jensen has been a student of
All-Star Karate for 7 years. She has a martial arts background in
Kempo Kung Fu, Yang Style Tai Chi and Hsing-I. She has been the
Program Director for the past 4 and a half years. Her duties include
tuition payments, student sign ups,ordering and sales of equipment and
uniforms, scheduling and setting up birthday parties, scheduling
private lessons with instructors,coordinatind all belt
promotions,Demos and in school tournaments. She is a liaison between
Parents, Student and Administration.
